Best Weapons in Dying Light 2
Table of Contents
In Dying Light 2, there are thousands of weapons you can pick up and modify to suit your playstyle. These weapons can make Aiden own the regions of Old Villedor and the Central Loop. The better the weapon, the quicker you will take down a Biter. There are a ton of weapons that you will pick up in these two regions. In this guide, we point you to exactly which weapons are the best to lessen your time fighting the hordes.
Pyramid Blade
The pyramid blade is a level 9 blade. It is super rare. The inspiration for this blade's design is from the Pyramid Head in Silent Hill 2. You can receive this weapon through a vendor, but it is so scarce that you need to buy it immediately if you do see it there! You cannot modify this weapon, but that's OK. It is so strong that it needs no mods.

Enso Katana
The Enso Katan can be maxed at level 8. This blade is mostly found from higher-level enemies in the end game. You can put mods on this blade to make it stronger, but it is potent even at a base level with no mods. Remember, you cannot take mods off this Enzo Katana once they are placed. Pick those mods carefully to get the maximum effectiveness out of your build.

Barbarian
The Barbarian is a powerful long sword that can be maxed out at level 9. This Blade is not effective if you use it on a lower level. Wait until you are stronger and have a few more mods in your backpack before unleashing this Blade's full potential. Keep in mind that the Blade is a slower weapon. Once the mods have been placed on this weapon, you cannot take them off. Again, choose your weapon mods carefully.

- Stamina Regeneration on Quick Attack—+9%
- Damage During the Day—+14%
- Damage at Night—+21%
Yardstick
The Yardstick is likely the best bow in the game. This bow is maxed out at level 2, so it doesn't seem like it could do all that much, but that is entirely wrong. This weapon allows you to take on Biters from a distance and do significant damage. The only problem with the bow is that you can't put mods on it. The bow itself makes up for it in terms of damage and durability.
Stats
- Damage—353
PK Crossbow
Another ranged weapon on our list, this Crossbow is ridiculously overpowered. This Crossbow scales with your level. Once you have the Crossbow, you'll notice that it has a free, unlimited number of bolts. You can only receive the PK Crossbow if you side with the Peacekeepers at the Electrical Station at the edge of town. After siding with the Peacekeepers four times, you will receive the PK Crossbow, the best-ranged weapon in this game.
Stats
- Damage—Near 1000 for Scaling
