Does Dead By Daylight have Cross Progression?

Table of Contents

There is Cross Progression in Dead by Daylight, but currently, it is only between Steam and Stadia. They are working to have this feature available for other platforms, including the Nintendo Switch port of the game.

For Stadia and PC players to enable Cross Progression, players will have to make a Behavior account. This will make it so all levels, unlockables, perks, and DLC purchases will be synced up. Auric Cells, however, are platform-specific and won't be shared unless they are gained from the Rift.

Names will stay the same on whatever platform players play on, meaning no username changes will be required. Accounts are limited to a single account per platform when tying it to your Behavior Account. That means no smurf Steam or Stadia accounts, so smurfs will have to get their Perks the old-fashioned way.

Unlinking accounts will revert that platform's account back to its original state. This means you can't link accounts in hopes of getting DLC from a friend and then unlink it afterward. Additionally, if you link a banned account with an unbanned account using the Behavior Account, both accounts will be banned. If both accounts are already linked and then one of them gets banned, the other will as well.

And that's all the information we have regarding Cross Progression at this time. Development for more platforms is in the works and more updates will be posted on Pro Game Guides.
