How to get the Sharlayan Diadema in Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker

The Sharlayan Diadema is a piece of headgear introduced in Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker. But this stylish leaf crown is one of the more time-consuming pieces of glamour gear to obtain in the new expansion.

To get the Sharlayan Diadema, you’ll need to raise the level of every Shared FATE in all the new Endwalker zones to rank 3. Once you’ve done this, the Sharlayan Diadema is purchasable from the Gemstone Trader in Old Sharlayan for 800 Bicolor Gemstones. They’re called Gadfrid and are located at Old Sharlayan, The Studium X:12.8, Y:10.5.

Luckily Bicolor Gemstones and Shared FATE rank are two parts of the same process. To raise Share FATE score you need to complete FATEs, and completing FATEs unlocks up to 14 Bicolor Gemstones per completed FATE at the Gold rank. You’ll also receive experience and Company Seals from each completion. 

The time-consuming part is that there are six total zones to level up, and you’ll need to complete 60 FATEs in total to reach Rank 3. That’s 360 FATEs across all Endwalker zones. Safe to say, this is a reward for a truly impressive grind.

Luckily if you’ve completed all 360 FATEs, then 800 Bicolor Gemstones shouldn’t be too much of a reach at all.
