How to trap opponents in IMC Armories in Apex Legends

IMC Armories were recently introduced in Apex Legends Season 13, and these are designed to give players the best possible loot options after successfully eliminating waves of Spectres. Eliminating the robots quickly will yield better loot in smart crates, but teams are always vulnerable to being third-partied inside these cages. We have been grinding the game since these IMC Armories arrived, and here are a few tips and tricks players should use to take down opponent squads easily.

The IMC Armory gates close when a player triggers the computer inside. If an opposing team is fighting Spectres inside, then it's ideal for getting a position on top of the IMC Armory. Positioning on top of the Armory will allow your team to preemptively shoot the opponents inside quite easily. The only downside to this trick is that opponents may have a chance to use the jump pad and relocate. Legends like Gibraltar, Wattson, Fuse, Valkyrie, Horizon, and Mad Maggie are perfect for this situation, as players can spam abilities when the IMC Armory opens up. Remember, the fight inside the Armory lasts for 60 seconds, so it's best to surreptitiously execute third-party plans.

How to close the IMC Armory jump pad and trap opponents in Apex Legends? 

There is another method by which players can trap enemies inside IMC Armories, and you will need a Trident to get this working. For this trick, all you have to do is drive the Trident and place it on top of the IMC Armory to stop opponents from using the special eject feature to relocate.

Although Trident's do not have a vertical lift, players can line up these vehicles with stones and other structures on the map to accurately place them over an IMC Armory. Drive in front of a stone that gives a slight vertical edge to the vehicle, and use the boost feature to speed up towards the Trident. This will automatically take it on top of the IMC Armory, where you can place the vehicle to trap the exit, leaving the opponents vulnerable inside. 

We have tried this trick several times in ranked battle royale, and it works perfectly as long as players can line up the Trident on top of the IMC Armory. Make sure your teammates are watching the main Armory gate, as that will be a viable option for opponents to exit. Spam grenades and other explosives inside to quickly eliminate enemies. This method will allow players to get smart loot without defeating waves of Spectres themselves.
