Who is Eva Levante in Destiny 2? (Lore)

Destiny has no shortage of memorable and lovable characters. One of the most beloved isn't some defender of the Light and the Traveler. Instead, she is an ordinary human that reminds Guardians there's more to life than constant battle. She teaches us that if we stop and pause every once in a while, we can see some real beauty in the world.

Eva Levante has taken up several different roles over the course of the Destiny series. In Destiny 1, she was the Guardian Outfitter who sold Emblems and Shaders to Guardians. It was a couple of years before she returned After the Red War occurred in Destiny 2. Now, everyone's favorite space grandma hosts the events and acts as a bounty vendor (among other things, depending on the event).

In one of the Festival of the Lost Grimoire's during the Taken King expansion in Destiny 1, it was revealed that Eva had a husband and child. Unfortunately, both have passed on. Despite these losses, she exhibits nothing but warmth and friendliness for every resident of the Tower. She goes to great lengths to organize special events and decorate the Tower. Of all the NPCs Guardians will meet, Eva Levante might be the most precious.
